About Us
A trading house built on supply chain discipline
BASE Mining, Minerals and Petroleum was founded on a simple premise: industrial buyers don't need another mine, they need a supplier they can trust to deliver the right material, on time, to specification.
We do not own or operate mines, quarries, or processing plants. Instead, BASE builds direct, audited relationships with established producers — Turkish quarry operators for marble, aggregate and cement; Russian mineral belts for coke, coal and industrial metals — and manages every step between origin and destination.
That model keeps us close to the material without carrying extraction risk, and it keeps our buyers close to the source without managing dozens of individual supplier relationships. Our teams handle quality verification, documentation, export compliance and logistics coordination as a single, accountable service. If something goes wrong at any point in that chain, a buyer has one phone number to call, not a list of subcontractors to chase down.
Today BASE serves industrial buyers across construction, metallurgy, energy and manufacturing, coordinating shipments around the clock across two source countries and seven languages of service.
This page and the three that follow it — our mission and values, our formal policies, and the structure of the BASE trading model — set out exactly how that works in practice, so buyers know precisely what they are relying on us for before the first shipment is agreed.
In practice, that discipline shows up in small, unglamorous ways: a shipment held back a day because a certificate didn't match the batch, a supplier relationship ended over a documentation gap rather than a price dispute, a buyer told the truth about a delay before they had to ask. None of that makes a headline, but it's what "reliable" actually means once a contract is signed.
